Rita's Story

Rita is a 51-year-old married woman with six children (three children who are in school). She is a very hardworking entrepreneur. Rita has a business buying and selling rice in the Philippines. She has been in this business for 10 years.

Rita requested a 13,000 Philippine peso loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation to buy additional sacks of rice to sell and other supplies needed in her business. In the future, Rita would like to save enough money so she can afford to send her children to college.
