Flor De Maria's Story
Flor is 33 years old. She studied through to grade 8 in school and did not continue as she had to help her mother sell in the market. She is currently single, has no children and lives with her parents.
Flor has a stall in the market where she has been selling clothing for 17 years. She learned [the trade] from her mother. She travels 4 km by motorcycle every morning to get to her business and gets up at 4 am to get ready. At 6 am she opens her shop and returns home at 6 pm from Monday to Sunday.
Flor will use the loan to buy more clothing so she can continue to sell as at year-end her earnings are greater.
She dreams of having a larger shop for her business.
